FAQ

What is an ‘Endless Pool’?

Our high performance Endless Pool is 14ft by 8ft and allows you to swim against a variable flow of water. Our pool can run at a pace to suit you and can challenge the fastest swimmers at a pace of 1 minute per 100 metres. You will be swimming on the spot so your coach is always right by your side during the coached session.

What are your opening times?

Swimming is a hobby – we know this and we are very flexible. We have 24/7 access to the building and can accommodate early morning and evening sessions to suit you! Give us a call and let us know when you want to swim – try not to make Stu go the pool at 3am though – he needs his beauty sleep!

What do I need to bring with me for my session?

Basics; swimsuit, goggles, swim hat (or buy one of our awesome hats), towel, flip flops.
Gents – don’t wear Bermuda style shorts! You wouldn’t go for a run with a parachute, so don’t try and swim in one. You are more than welcome to bring your wetsuit along.
Optional; swim toys like paddles, snorkels and a pull buoy can be a useful addition to your kit collection. Bring them along if you have them!
You will have a nice warm shower before and after the swim session. Avoid perfumes and make-up as our lovely pool won’t thank you for it!

How long will I spend in the water?

In our standard hour long session, you will have approx. 45 minutes in the water. Don’t worry – the session will be broken down into tailored drills to improve your stroke.

Can I bring family and friends to the session?

All welcome! Brixworth Country Park is a wonderful place to bring your family for a day out. They can enjoy the forest walks, play areas, running, cycling and cafe. There is something for everyone at the park! The bike shop next door to the SWIMCUBE has a great selection of bikes to hire for the whole family too.

How do I pay for the session?

We take card payments and require a 40% deposit when booking over the phone. We know that plans can change and will always try to be flexible for you in rearranging a session.

I want to try Open Water swimming – can you help?

Great! That’s our passion too. Stuart is a level two Open Water Coach and can arrange sessions at a suitable venue for individuals or groups.

Do you have parking?

There is a large car park and we have two dedicated parking bays that are free for clients to use.
